Have youever heard of what the title says? If you have no idea, then just guess. Because, it sounds exactly what it means.

Writer’s block is a condition usually found with the people who do writing for living. In simple, these professional writers suddenly loose the ability to write and produce creative content. As we all know, creative and fresh content is what keep the writing profession rolling. When the writer looses the most important aspect of writing, then writing doesn’t mean anything to anyone!

Writer’s block mostly can be of temporary and can get rid of it after a fresh coffee or taking a vacation for a couple of days. But in other cases, it can be long term and there are cases that some writers have stopped writing for years and some have even given up on their writing profession.

Same as any other condition that affect humans, writer’s block also has many causes. The most frequent type of cause is the lack of creativity within the author’s work. This simply means that the author’s work is not creative compared to his or her past work. Imagine a situation where Arthur C Clerk running out of ideas for the last book of Space Odyssey; 3001 and just wrestle with words? How boring that can be for the reader and what kind of a reputation loss for the author? Many authors, luckily, avoid writing any thing if they are aware of that they are a victim of writer’s block.
Second most frequent cause for writer’s block is the lack of inspiration. This is more serious than the first cause as this can be frustrating for the authors. Lack of inspiration can stop the development of great work for years and sometime for the good. There can be many internal and external factors influencing this cause and such as a change in author’s perceptions, beliefs, or death of a loved one.

The next cause is also frequently found and potentially dangerous as well. Sometime, a writing project can be misconceived at the beginning beyond the experience and the skills of the author. The author may try to complete the work, but he or she will run in to writer’s block as it is too big for him/her.
